Cristiano Ronaldo Asks Real Madrid Gareth Bale Parking To Play Marco Asensio?

Christiano Ronaldo reportedly asked Real Madrid to give Marco Asensio more play time according to reports. That means Gareth Bale or Isco should be parked.

Asensio became Real’s first choice last season, performing at U21 Euro this summer and a superb start with Los Blancos.

The 21-year-old has appeared as a starter in La Liga three times and twice from the bench. He scored two goals that saved Real Madrid’s face at the Santiago Bernabeu against Valencia (2-2) and also two goals that gave Real Madrid a win at the Super Cup against Barcelona.

Although Asensio’s performance continues to impress Real’s difficulties at the start of the season and they have an early season kriris. Currently they are seven points adrift of Barcelona after five games.

Disappointed with the performance of Borja Mayoral

Ronaldo appeared in La Liganya’s first game against Real Betis, unfortunately his start was marked by a 1-0 defeat at home. Seeing the pace of Real Madrid bad, Ronaldo asked to play with Asensio.

The 21-year-old only featured 21 minutes against Betis and Ronaldo wanted him to be a starter by getting rid of Bale. In addition Ronaldo also reportedly disliked the appearance of Borja Mayoral who has played three La Liga matches this season.

Don Balon says Ronaldo considers Mayoral unworthy and he does not want the 20-year-old close to the team. He is also worried about Bale’s performance and considers Asensio to be the top choice.

Ronaldo wants to play with two young Spanish players (Isco and Asensio) and feel it’s the best composition of the season. (Source:
